As Senior Manager Operations (m/f/d), you will lead all operational activities within our clinical supply center. You will ensure that goods are processed, packaged, and delivered efficiently, on time, and in compliance with all regulatory and quality requirements.
In this key leadership role, you will drive operational excellence, foster a high-performance culture, and contribute directly to our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
A Day in the Life

Lead and develop a team of up to 50 employees across Distribution, Warehouse and Pick & Pack.

Ensure on-time, high-quality processing and shipment of all distribution orders
-
Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control

Collaborate closely with Production Planning to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and documentation

Review and approve production and operational documentation
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and PPI methodologies

Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, ISO standards, and all regulatory requirements

Manage operational budgets and contribute to P&L performance

Partner cross-functionally with HR, QA, PPI, Customer Service, Order Processing, Logistic, Procurement, and Transportation teams
How will you get here?
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
-
Many years (Bachelor) or profound (Advanced Degree) of progressive management experience in distribution, logistics, or operations
-
Proven leadership experience managing large teams in a complex, regulated environment
-
Strong track record in operational excellence, process improvement, and project execution
-
Experience in GMP/GDP regulated environments, ideally within clinical trials or pharma
-
Strong leadership and coaching capabilities with the ability to inspire and engage teams
-
Solid understanding of warehouse operations, WMS, ERP systems
-
Knowledge of Clinical Trial Supply with focus on Comparator, IMP Returns, Controlled Substance, Medical Devices (CAM/GCAS) and Ultra Cold product handling is an advantage

Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies

Strong financial acumen with P&L and budget responsibility

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple operational demands in a dynamic environment

Knowledge of cold chain logistics and dangerous goods handling is an advantage
