Role Summary:
As our new Logistics Specialist (m/w/d), you oversee logistics operations, coordinate with National Sales Companies and logistics partners, and ensure the seamless flow of vehicles from production to market. Through data-driven performance management and continuous process improvement, you optimize supply chain efficiency, inventory levels, and operational excellence across the European logistics network.
We want you to:
Manage vehicle logistics operations across European National Sales Companies, ensuring efficient and timely vehicle distribution
Coordinate shipment planning with manufacturing plants and logistics partners based on production schedules and market demand
Monitor compound capacity, port operations, transportation performance, and vehicle inventory to identify risks and optimization opportunities
Act as the key interface with logistics partners, including Glovis Europe, EUKOR, ports, and transport providers, ensuring operational excellence and service quality
Lead regular operational reviews with National Sales Companies, proactively resolving logistics issues before they impact business performance
Analyze logistics performance, stock levels, vessel schedules, and distribution KPIs to improve operational efficiency and inventory management
Develop logistics performance reports and provide strategic recommendations to senior management and European markets
Share best practices across markets and support National Sales Companies in implementing logistics improvements and operational standards
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize logistics processes, reduce costs, and strengthen supply chain resilience
Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Sales, Production, and external partners to ensure consistent execution of Hyundai's European logistics strategy
About you:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in Vehicle Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Automotive Distribution
Strong understanding of end-to-end automotive supply chain and vehicle distribution processes
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics data and translate insights into operational improvements
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization; experience with reporting tools is highly desirable
Experience managing logistics projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and driving process improvements
Strong understanding of inventory management, vehicle logistics, shipment planning, and transportation operations
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience working across National Sales Companies, logistics providers, and internal business functions
Strong financial awareness with the ability to evaluate logistics performance, operational costs, and efficiency improvements
Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment
Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage
