This is an opportunity to join RICS on a 6-month fixed term contract, providing focused local support to our Germany team. The role will help maintain continuity across member engagement, stakeholder activity and events during a busy period for the region.
Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities
As Member Engagement and Events Lead, you will provide fixed term support for local member engagement activity, with Germany as the main focus and a wider regional DACH element. You will work with colleagues, members, local boards and stakeholders to help coordinate a varied programme of events, communications and market engagement activity.
Internally, this role is known as Market Engagement Lead. For this fixed term contract, the focus will be on delivery, coordination and continuity, with some practical engagement and sales support activity included to provide additional capacity across the Germany team.
You will help coordinate local member events, regional conferences and commercial activities, including smaller engagement events and larger member facing events which require careful planning, stakeholder coordination, speaker management, communications and logistical support.
The role will also support agreed regional priorities, alongside ongoing member engagement and market activity across Germany and the wider DACH region.
What You’ll Be Doing
Support and coordinate local member engagement activity across Germany, helping to progress agreed market priorities.
Coordinate events, workshops, conferences and member meetings, ensuring effective planning and smooth delivery.
Support the planning and delivery of larger commercial and member facing events, working with speakers, stakeholders, internal teams and external contacts.

Provide practical support for engagement and commercial activity by coordinating meetings, preparing materials and helping colleagues maintain momentum across regional priorities.

Support the administration of local boards, advisory groups and working groups, including information flow, meeting coordination and follow up actions.
Coordinate event related documentation and administration, ensuring activity is accurate, organised and follows internal processes.
Work collaboratively across RICS teams, including Market Engagement, Marketing, Communications, Commercial and Member Engagement colleagues, to support a joined-up member experience.
About You
You will be an organised, proactive and confident communicator who enjoys building relationships, coordinating activity and supporting the delivery of high-quality member and stakeholder experiences.
