What to Expect
As Controls Technician in the Maintenance team you will trouble shoot equipment and continuously optimize processes and production equipment on automation level.
What You'll Do
- Independent troubleshooting of control-related faults in the area of PLC to ensure a smooth production process for fully automated systems

Participation in preventive maintenance measures for machines

Detection and elimination of control errors

Documentation of all maintenance, modification and repair work as well as damage reports and troubleshooting

Performing tasks according to instructions in compliance with all guidelines, safety and accident prevention regulations

Support during the commissioning of new machines

Troubleshooting in case of malfunctions in the control system to ensure a smooth production process

Developing and setting up functionalities to identify potential for improvement and failure analysis

Independent and autonomous development of solutions for production-specific problems

Creation of technical documentation

Training employees and enabling them to identify and solve problems independently

Optimization of production processes while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards

Adaptation of the control system due to process or product changes

Communication and cooperation with production and maintenance staff
What You'll Bring
- Completed training in the field of computer science, automation technology, mechatronics, electronics or comparable.

Relevant professional experience in the field of maintenance of production machines, ideally in production/manufacturing in the automotive industry.

Good technical understanding as well as first experience in programming with common PLC (such as: Beckhoff, Siemens TIA-Portal or SEW)

Understanding of technical and electrical drawings in large-scale production

Knowledge of the structure and geometry of fully automated production systems

Hands-on mentality

Willingness to work shifts (fully continuous rotating shift model 24/7)

Good Knowledge English in speaking and writing
