About CBM

CBM (registered as CBM Christoffel-Blindenmission Christian Blind Mission e.V.) is an international development organisation committed to improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities in the persons communities of the world. Based on our Christian values and more than 100 years of professional expertise, we address poverty as a cause and a consequence of disability. We work in partnership to create an inclusive society for all.

We are looking for a working student with a background or interest in public health to support our Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) programmes starting October 1, 2026.

The position is initially limited to 12 months with a maximum of 19.5 h/week.

This position is only filled locally with contractual conditions of the respective country. An expatriation is not intended.

These are your responsibilities

Support NTD data management
Analyze programme data
Prepare and author reports on findings
Prepare and conduct background research and/or literature reviews on topic identified by the NTD team
Prepare and develop program materials specified by the project work plan
Assist in creating technical materials for conferences, meetings, and events
Perform other duties as assigned

These are your qualifications

Currently enrolled as a graduate student in a relevant academic program preferably in public health, public policy, health care, information management in health care, data science, health economics or a combination of biological and social science disciplines with an interest in public health
Strong affinity for data and analysis
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written), French skills desired
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Ability to exercise sound judgment
Identification with Christian values and the mandate of CBM
