Who we are
IBS – Institute Bruno Schmaeling Consulting Group is an internationally operating consulting company specialising in behavioural safety. With offices in 17 countries and over 400 clients across 700 sites worldwide, we have been supporting industrial companies for more than 35 years in sustainably reducing workplace accidents.
Our approach, Innovative Behavioural Safety® (IBS), goes beyond traditional safety programs. We work at the root cause level: changing unconscious behavioural patterns that lead to accidents in everyday work.
In Finland, we have successfully worked with companies such as Fortum, Neste, Outokumpu, SSAB/Ruukki Metals, Oulun Energia and Stora Enso, among others.
What we are looking for
Due to a change on our existing freelance partner's side, we are now looking for a new long-term freelance partner for Finland. We are interested in a lasting cooperation and offer the possibility of a deeper partnership within our company.
Your profile
- Background as EHS Manager, Safety Engineer or Safety Specialist
- Fluent in English (Finnish and/or Swedish a plus)
- Well-connected in the Finnish EHS network and within industrial companies
- Proactive, communicative and results-oriented
- Experienced in advising and training people across all levels of an organisation
- Motivated to build something long-term, not just fill a short-term gap
