CREDOXYS in Dresden/Germany develops high-quality specialty chemicals for current and next-generation organic displays (OLED) and organic solar cells (OPV). For this scientifically demanding field of technology, we are seeking a Patent Engineer (m/f/d) with a background in chemistry who would like to apply their expertise at the intersection of new materials, technological development, and strategic issues.
Your responsibilities
- Analysis of patent applications and patents within the competitive technological landscape
- Conducting patent searches and evaluating the state of the art
- Addressing complex patent-related issues, particularly in the field of chemistry
- Developing technical arguments in collaboration with internal departments and external patent attorneys
- Monitoring competitor activities and identifying potential courses of action
- Preparing and communicating the results to internal decision-makers
Your profile
- PhD or master’s degree in chemistry or a related field
- Strong interest in patent law issues, preferably with experience in the patent field, patent searches, or patent analysis
- Knowledge of OLEDs and organic electronics, or willingness to quickly familiarize yourself within this field
- Analytical mindset, structured approach to work, and strong technical understanding
- Ability to work well in a team and enthusiasm for a dynamic startup environment
- Excellent skills in German and English language
