Across Europe, fleets are under enormous pressure. Fuel costs are rising. Regulatory requirements are tightening. The shift to low-emission vehicles is accelerating. And yet around 70% of European businesses still manage their fleets manually, with spreadsheets, disconnected tools, and processes that were never built for this moment. Shiftmove exists to make this simple.
We are a profitable B2B SaaS company and the fastest-growing fleet management platform in Europe, born from the merger of Avrios and Vimcar, and now serving tens of thousands of corporate customers across Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, and beyond. Most recently, we acquired Optimum and Ocean in France, expanding our footprint and doubling down on one of Europe's largest fleet markets. Our AI-powered platform connects real-time vehicle data with intelligent software so that businesses can procure smarter, control costs, stay compliant, and lead the transition to cleaner mobility, all from one place.
About the role:
As our Senior Product Designer in the Growth team, you'll bring Product Thinking into Marketing by owning the customer journey across our marketing websites. You'll identify the right customer problems to solve, validate assumptions through research, and design experiments that directly improve business outcomes.
Working closely with Growth, Product Marketing, Website Management, and Conversion Rate Optimization Management, you'll own the full discovery-to-impact process. You'll combine qualitative research with quantitative insights to identify opportunities, define hypotheses, design solutions, and continuously measure their effectiveness against business metrics.
What you'll do:
-
Product Discovery: Lead end-to-end discovery by conducting customer research, analysing qualitative and quantitative insights, identifying customer problems, and translating findings into high-impact opportunities.
- Experimentation: Partner with the Growth team to define hypotheses, run experiments, evaluate results, and iterate based on evidence rather than opinion.
- Experience Design: Design user experiences across our marketing websites that improve conversion, activation, expansion, and referral while driving measurable business impact.
-
Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyse behavioural data, website performance, and A/B test results to uncover opportunities and prioritise the highest-impact initiatives.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Champion customer evidence by facilitating discussions, challenging assumptions constructively, and helping teams make better decisions through research and data.
- Strategic Ownership: Proactively identify new opportunities, influence the Growth roadmap, and drive initiatives independently.
- End-to-End Design: Move seamlessly between discovery, UX, UI, and iteration while creating high-quality solutions using existing design systems.
What the first 6 months might look like:
-
Months 1 to 2: Build a deep understanding of our customers, Growth initiatives, and existing research through a structured handover, while taking ownership of ongoing experiments and building strong relationships across the team.
-
Months 3 to 4: Start independently leading customer discovery, defining hypotheses, and driving new experiments that address high-impact opportunities across our marketing websites.
-
Months 5 to 6: Establish yourself as a trusted Product Thinking partner within Growth, influence priorities through research and data, and deliver measurable improvements to key business metrics such as conversion, activation, or expansion.
What you'll need to be successful:
-
Product Design Expertise: Extensive end-to-end Product Design experience spanning discovery, research, UX, UI, experimentation, validation, and iteration.
- Discovery Mindset: Proven ability to conduct qualitative customer research, synthesise insights, identify opportunities, and validate assumptions before designing solutions.
- Experimentation: Experience working hypothesis-first, leveraging A/B testing, experimentation, analytics, and measurement to guide product decisions.
- Autonomy: Comfortable independently defining problems, priorities, and solutions without relying on Product Managers or Researchers.
- Data Literacy: Confident combining qualitative and quantitative insights to identify opportunities and make evidence-based decisions.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong communicator who can influence without authority, challenge ideas respectfully, and align cross-functional teams around customer evidence.
- UX & UI Excellence: Strong UX and UI skills with experience designing scalable, user-centred experiences using established design systems.
- Language Skills: Both English and German at C1 level, with the ability to conduct customer interviews and work confidently with websites in German.
