The Structural Xploration Lab is seeking a new research collaborator with a PhD in building technology, preferably in the field of building materials and/or building envelope performance and/or building renovation. The candidate must be familiar with contemporary construction techniques and have an interest in 20th-century construction techniques or vernacular architecture. Experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Building Information Modelling (BIM), Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or computer programming is a plus. A master's degree or professional experience in architecture is preferred but not required.
The employment rate varies between 80% and 100%, depending on the candidate's availability. This is a 9-month contract, renewable. The earliest start date is May 1st or as soon as possible.
