JD Junior Marketing Manager (F/M/D)
WHD is looking for a Junior Marketing Manager to join us at our Cologne headquarters to help develop and deliver innovative marketing campaigns for an exciting new addition to our events portfolio.

Core Responsibilities
- Support the Marketing Director in developing the marketing plans for our new event to help achieve attendance goals
- Help execute multichannel event marketing campaigns across all channels and contribute innovative ideas to attract our audiences
- Support the positioning of the new event as an attractive destination for both attendees and sponsors
- Build an understanding of our target audience and support the development of segmentation, targeting, and personas
- Assist in creating customer journeys, developing lead nurture campaigns, and using automation where appropriate
- Track campaign performance KPIs, with a focus on continuous improvement and measurement
- Partner with our sponsorship sales team to support lead generation campaigns that drive new business and strengthen existing relationships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help deliver an event that blows people's minds
Skills and Experience We Are Looking For
- Some relevant marketing experience (e.g. 1–2 years, including internships), ideally in events or B2B
- Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, communications or related field, or similar qualification
- Basic understanding of data-driven marketing, segmentation, and personas
- Some hands-on digital marketing experience, ideally including CRM and social media; experience with paid marketing is a plus
- Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, WordPress, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Meta and Google Ads is a plus
- Interest in performance measurement and continuous improvement
- Great communication skills and an eye for campaigns that drive conversion
- Extremely organised and accountable
- Awesome team player with good stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel and attend event
