A leading renewable energy developer and Independent Power Producer (IPP) is currently looking to secure a BoP Procurement Manager to support the delivery of a growing portfolio of utility-scale battery energy storage (BESS) and renewable energy projects across Europe.
The Company:
My client is an international renewable energy investment and asset management business with a strong presence across Europe, managing over 1.5GW of renewable energy assets. The business is active across the full project lifecycle, from investment and development through to construction and long-term asset management, with a strong focus on wind, solar, and battery storage projects.
The Role:
As BoP Procurement Manager, you would be responsible for:
- Leading procurement strategy for Balance of Plant (BoP) packages including transformers, substations, grid connections and related infrastructure (up to €200m spend).
- Managing sourcing, tendering, negotiation and contract award for BoP and BESS packages, including EPC contractors and OEMs.
- Working with project managers, engineers, and legal/technical teams to align procurement with technical and delivery requirements.
- Supporting procurement strategy development for utility-scale renewable projects, including potential PV integration.
- Managing key supplier relationships to ensure cost control, performance, and delivery across major contracts.
The Person:
- Experience in procurement, commercial, or project delivery roles within renewable energy or infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of BoP scope and utility-scale energy projects.
- BESS experience preferred; PV or wider renewables also considered.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- English fluency required.
