The Truth
This is not a job just to get to Germany!
Nursing requires that you actually are passionate with people, you communicate in German, you undertake medical treatments and you are involved in very intimate moments when you wash patients or help them on the toilet. If you are not the person to do this, then do not apply! You will not be happy at work; it is not worth it.
Also, a nurse in Germany is typically involved in basic care (washing, toilet, dressing). Although this will change gradually with a new law (called PeBeM), you are expected to do this in your daily work. Later, when you are a professional nurse, you will be expected to communicate with doctors, colleagues and patients including their families fluently and you MUST be confident to speak in German.
We do not want to terrify you here but be very transparent about this occupation and the requirements you have to face.
