We're looking for an experienced software engineer with a track record of technical leadership to join the Rapid Next Platform team. You'll lead a team of four engineers, owning both delivery and the day-to-day technical direction of the team. This is a hands-on lead role, you'll be writing code alongside your team while also setting standards, unblocking people, and keeping the work moving.
2026–2027 is a period of significant change as we consolidate multiple legacy ERP systems into a unified modern platform. The work is complex, the codebase is not always clean, and the expectations are high. That's the context you'll be stepping into.

Lead a team of 4 engineers: day-to-day guidance, technical direction, and delivery accountability

Contribute hands-on across the platform stack, this is not a purely managerial role

Define and uphold engineering practices and quality standards within your team

Collaborate closely with product management to scope, plan, and deliver features end-to-end

Identify and address technical risk, dependencies, and blockers early

Support the growth and effectiveness of your team members

Technical Environment

Backend: C# (required), Java Spring Boot (a strong plus)

Frontend: React, Vue

Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

Proven experience leading small engineering teams, including direct technical mentorship

Strong C# background with production experience across multiple projects

Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.)

Solid grasp of CI/CD, containerization, and cloud infrastructure

Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into concrete technical plans

Fluent English (German or Swedish is a plus)
