In this role, you will shape and lead our global buying strategy for finished goods, with full ownership of supplier performance, value creation, and organizational development. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution—driving business impact in a dynamic, international FMCG environment.
Strategy & Value Creation
- Define and execute the strategy for Global Buying
- Drive savings targets and overall value contribution
- Lead strategic negotiations and key supplier partnerships
Supplier Leadership & Risk Management
- Own and develop a strategic global supplier portfolio
- Ensure end-to-end risk management (capacity, geopolitical, financial stability)
- Lead escalation management for critical supply issues
- Drive supplier scouting and onboarding
Performance, Governance & Digital Excellence
- Establish and lead SRM frameworks (KPIs, scorecards, business reviews)
- Ensure compliance and governance standards across suppliers
- Drive digital transformation, tools, and automation in Buying
Innovation & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Drive supplier-led innovation in close collaboration with internal teams
- Provide market insights and benchmarks in the color cosmetics space
- Partner closely with Marketing, Packaging, and Procurement
- Support portfolio development for new product launches
Organization & Leadership
- Build and develop a high-performing Buying organization
- Strengthen core capabilities (negotiation, costing, SRM)
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and performance
- Act as a strategic sparring partner to senior leadership
