Role Overview:
As an HR Specialist at SANY Europe, you will play a key role in supporting HR operations, particularly in bridging communication between our European offices and our headquarters in China. You will manage HR administrative tasks, support talent acquisition processes, and assist in the development of a strong organizational culture that promotes employee engagement and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition: Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding employees, particularly for roles that require Mandarin or Cantonese proficiency.
- HR Support for Chinese Employees: Act as a liaison for Chinese-speaking employees, ensuring smooth communication and understanding of company policies, benefits, and regulations.
- Employee Relations: Resolve employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring that both Chinese and European employees are supported in their respective roles.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Support the payroll process for Chinese-speaking employees and assist in managing employee benefits.
- Training and Development: Assist in organizing training sessions and workshops for employees, ensuring that materials are available in both Chinese and English (or other local languages as needed).
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure HR practices are compliant with European labor laws and SANY’s policies, with particular attention to cross-border regulations and the needs of Chinese-speaking employees.
- Translation Support: Provide translation and interpretation support during HR meetings, recruitment processes, and employee communications, from Chinese to English or local languages and vice versa.
- HR Projects: Participate in cross-functional HR projects and initiatives, providing insights from the Chinese market when necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Fluency in Chinese Mandarin, German and English: Both written and spoken.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or administrative roles; experience in an international or multicultural work environment is preferred.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues at all levels, across diverse cultures.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding of Chinese and European workplace cultures to support effective cross-cultural communication and collaboration.
- Attention to Detail: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in HR software (SAP, Workday, or similar) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in HR in a multinational company.
- Knowledge of European and Chinese labor laws and HR regulations.
