We are looking for a Process Lean Design Leader (Global) to drive the deployment of Lean and 3P (Production Process Preparation) principles at the earliest stages of product and process design—before CAPEX decisions are made.
In this strategic role, you will challenge complexity, enable simplicity, and shape flexible, cost-efficient industrial solutions across our global manufacturing network.

Your IMPACT:
-
Drive the global deployment of 3P methodology across all industrialization teams
-
Lead and coach redesign initiatives to simplify production lines and remove non-value-added automation
-
Ensure robust and flexible industrial solutions before CAPEX commitment
-
Improve flow, footprint, maintainability, and ramp-up using Lean principles (e.g. takt time, single-piece flow, SMED)
-
Increase flexibility for SKUs, localization, and ramp-up phases while optimizing CAPEX
-
Lead selected global 3P projects and translate learnings into scalable design rules
-
Track and improve key KPIs (CAPEX, cost, OEE, footprint, time-to-market)
-
Build and lead a global Lean / 3P expert network
Your Profile:
-
10–15+ years of experience in Industrialization, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering
-
Strong knowledge of Lean / TPS principles and tools (VSM, takt time, SMED, flow)
-
Proven experience in production line design, ramp-up, or industrial transformation
-
Expertise in product-process design (DFM, PFMEA, CTQ)
-
Experience working in global, multi-regional environments
-
Master’s degree in industrial, Mechanical or Process Engineering or equivalent
-
Willingness to travel globally (at least 50%)
-
Fluent in English

For this Germany based position, the minimum of the pay is EUR 124.000 (Total Target Cash) per year. This pay includes base pay and short-term incentives or sales incentives. The compensation for this position applies to candidates with full-time contracts located within the Germany. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.
