We are currently looking for an HR Generalist join our international HR Department, and provide support to our offices in Germany.
The post-holder is responsible to provide a robust HR service and support to the Human Resources Department’s daily operations: personnel administration, benefits, payroll etc. He/she mainly works within a framework of established HR processes, procedures and standard work instructions as determined by the centralised HR department and applicable local country legislations.

Be responsible for all aspect of the administration involved in the employee life cycle including procedures in TransPerfect’s offices in Germany

Partner with the recruitment and relevant department to best coordinate employees’ onboarding

Gather required onboarding and separation paperwork in line with local regulations and Company procedures and policie

Manage employees’ absence and leave and coordinate submission of necessary documentation for payroll

Coordinate relevant training programs

Support the implementation and monitoring of performance evaluation programs

Implement and localize personnel policies and procedures and maintain compliance with country regulations

Have a robust understanding and practical knowledge of Company processes and policies to advise employees and managers

Manage the processes for relocations and transfers including necessary visa applications, payroll transfers, etc.

Maintain and implement HRIS (i.e. Workday) and employee file integrity

Run and create standard reporting from HRIS (turnover, benefits, etc.)

Administer different benefit plans in compliance with local regulations and Company procedures and policies

Support and advise on employee relations procedures e.g. grievances and disciplinaries. This could involve arranging meetings and taking notes

Perform operational support to the different office(s) in Germany

Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for your role and assigned by your manager/supervisor

Minimum 4 years HR experience within a multinational company

Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, preferably with specialisation in Human Resources

Proficiency level in MS Office (specifically Excel)

Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

Excellent German communication skills (written and verbal)

General knowledge and understanding of benefits/compensation

Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situations
