What to Expect
We are looking for a motivated and creative design intern to support our Workplace Design Team at the Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg.
This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with a background in graphic design, interior design / architecture or product design, who want to shape the workplace experience in the most advanced factory in the world.

What You'll Do-
Assist in the 2D and 3D execution of workplace design elements (e.g. layouts, visualizations, mock-ups) together with the in-house design team

Participate in creative design projects to enhance the workplace - art / graphics / sigange / custom furniture / events / exhibitions / murals

Support in the visual branding of interior spaces, including placement of Tesla logos, fonts, and design elements in line with brand guidelines

Support in material and furniture research, basic spatial planning, and documentation

Operate and maintain tools such as a vinyl plotter for producing labels, signs, and visual assets across the factory

Prepare files for print and cutting, maintain inventory of design materials (e.g. vinyl, inks), and coordinate simple service requests with vendors

Staying up-to-date on new tools and trends in design, and support innovation in the team through research and experimentation
What You'll Bring-
Hands-on attitude, creative and team-oriented mindset

Knowledge of Adobe Design Suite, Figma mandatory, 3d tools preferred

First experience in creative content creation and design

Understanding of Tesla’s mission

Strong written and verbal communication in English

Ready to work on-site in the Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg

Interest in workplace design, branded environments and fine art (we occasionally paint murals ourselves!)

Basic understanding of digital fabrication methods (vinyl plotting, 3D printing, laser cutting) is an advantage, but not required

3d modeling knowledge is a plus (Rhino + Grasshopper / Revit)
