Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and document test activities for vehicle connectivity features (e.g., telematics, eCall, remote services)
- Perform system validation and functional testing on test benches and in vehicles
- Analyze and debug issues, including log evaluation, trace analysis, and coordination with development teams
- Ensure traceability of test results to system requirements and specifications
- Error reporting and tracking, and follow up on corrective measures
- Collaborate closely with system, software, and backend teams to ensure end-to-end functionality
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field
- 5 years of experience in testing and validating connectivity or infotainment systems in the automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of diagnostics, logging tools (e.g., CANoe, Wireshark, Vehicle Spy), and communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, UDS, etc.)
- Experience with issue analysis and root cause identification across software, hardware, and backend systems
- Familiarity with test management and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ALM, Codebeamer etc.)
- Willingness to travel regularly for test drives and on-site validation activities
- Fluent German and Englisch
