What to Expect
Tesla’s internal structural engineering team is expanding and is looking for a new Structural Revit Modeler to strengthen its current set-up.
As a Revit modeler in Tesla's Structural team, you will be responsible for the BIM design and structural documentation development of structural projects wide variety of Tesla’s ongoing projects. Responsibilities of the role include, working alongside the engineering team to model and design new builds on site as well as the expansion and alteration projects of the current manufacturing facility.
What You'll Do-
Be involved with the BIM process and Revit modeling specifically related to the structural components of projects

Work within an internal team of Structural engineers and structural Revit 3D modelers

Collaborate with the wider internal design and construction team, external consultants & contractors to meet overall project delivery

Produce structural documentation including; 3D BIM Models, structural drawings, BoQs

Coordinate and liaise with other engineering disciplines and architectural team
What You'll Bring-
Minimum of 5 years of related project structural modeling experience. In particular, related to reinforced concrete and steel framing design

Proficient in Autodesk Revit for structural disciplines, including creation and management of custom parametric families, following naming conventions, working with shared parameters and schedule configuration to produce accurate Bills of Quantities and material take-offs; experience with Dynamo for parametric modeling is preferred but not mandatory

Working knowledge of construction practices and structural engineering techniques

Ability to work with still developing and not-yet defined targets

Strong personal accountability with an autonomous and flexible working style

English proficiency required. German is a plus
