We are seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to serve as an operational partner to our Head of Marketing. This role will oversee the execution of marketing and commercial programs—including conferences, medical education initiatives, and marketing material development and distribution—while ensuring seamless internal and external coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced biotech environment. You will manage timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, and team coordination while maintaining a solutions-oriented mindset and demonstrating commitment to Science's mission. Ideally, the role will be based in Germany or in Europe near a major airport hub.
- Design, coordinate, and execute marketing and commercial programs, including conferences, medical education meetings, and product launches, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with strategic objectives
- Develop, manage, and distribute marketing materials across multiple channels and audiences, overseeing design timelines, approval workflows, and quality standards
- Plan and implement internal and external training sessions for staff, partners, and stakeholders, including curriculum development, logistics coordination, and effectiveness measurement
- Serve as operational right hand to the Head of Marketing by managing calendars, meeting logistics, project timelines, and cross-functional communication
- Manage marketing budgets and vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts, tracking spend, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain marketing project management systems and documentation to track initiatives, deliverables, deadlines, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, regulatory, clinical, finance) to ensure marketing initiatives are compliant, accurate, and aligned with company objectives
- Identify process improvements and implement systems that increase operational efficiency and support team scalability
- 3+ years of marketing operations, program management, product management or marketing management experience in a healthcare, biotech, or medical device environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Native German language skills will are highly regarded.
- Proficiency with project management tools, marketing automation platforms, or event management software
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Experience in biotech, medical device, or pharmaceutical marketing with knowledge of regulatory considerations and compliance
- Demonstrated project management experience with conferences, events, or large-scale marketing initiatives
- Familiarity with medical education or healthcare professional training programs
- Experience with marketing budget management and vendor contract negotiation
