Limetax is building the operating system for the €20B German tax advisory industry. We acquire established tax firms and transform them into high-performing, technology-enabled businesses. We combine proprietary software, streamlined operations, and a strong group infrastructure to unlock value that traditional firm owners can't access alone.
Our founding team brings together backgrounds in investment banking, venture building, and applied AI. We're a small, fast-moving team backed by top-tier investors. Our mandate is clear: acquire firms, make them measurably better through technology, and scale. Every person we hire has real ownership and direct impact on outcomes.
This is a min. 3-month internship working directly with the COO across the operational core of the business. The work is broad by nature but with a clear goal: Integrate newly acquired firms to the Limetax platform and support them to thrive. One week you might be helping set up the reporting infrastructure for a newly integrated firm, the next you're building a process that didn't exist before.
You'll be given real problems and expected to figure out how to solve them.
Portfolio operations and firm integration. Supporting the onboarding and integration of newly acquired firms from tool implementation to process harmonization.
Process building and automation. Identifying manual, fragmented workflows and helping fix them at the root. You're comfortable getting into the tools to make it happen.
Reporting and controlling. Helping build and maintain the reporting infrastructure that keeps the group running.
You're a student in the final stages of your degree or a recent graduate, ideally with some exposure to consulting, a startup, or a fast-paced operational environment. The specific background matters less than your drive and the quality of your thinking. Excellent German and English is a must.
You think in structures. When faced with a messy problem, you frame it before you solve it. Your work is precise, well-reasoned, and something you'd put your name on.
You have a bias to action. You'd rather get something working and improve it than wait for the perfect plan. You pick up new tools and contexts quickly and don't need hand-holding to get started.
You take full ownership. You see what needs to happen, you make it happen, and you follow through. You don't leave things half-done.
A small team of people who set a high bar for themselves and each other. You'll be pushed and you'll learn fast.
High trust and real ownership. You won't be handed busywork — you'll do real work that feeds into real decisions.
Work that compounds. You're helping build the infrastructure for an industry that is fundamentally changing, and what you contribute here will still matter in ten years.
