About the Role
To strengthen our Quality Management team, we are seeking a Quality Inspection Technician responsible for ensuring and monitoring our quality standards throughout the entire value chain. This position plays a key role in maintaining the quality of supplier-provided components as well as internally manufactured parts and in identifying and preventing quality deviations at an early stage.
The responsibilities include performing sampling inspections of serial deliveries, conducting the approval and qualification of new supplier parts in accordance with applicable specifications, and carrying out dimensional inspections of semi-finished and finished products. In addition, the role involves measuring and evaluating new components as part of first article inspections. Further responsibilities include the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of inspection plans.Through close collaboration with Purchasing, Production, and Quality Assurance, this position contributes significantly to the continuous improvement of processes and the achievement of consistently high product quality standards
About your responsibilities

Create and update quality inspection plans within the ERP module.

Process First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and certificates.

Create supplier complaints/non-conformance reports in the ERP system.

Perform quality inspections, including the required documentation.

Prepare First Article Inspection Reports for raw materials (excluding rubber compounds), purchased finished products, and internally manufactured components.

Create basic quality statistics and reports.

Operate measurement equipment, including 3D coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).

Perform transactions and evaluations within the ERP system.

Support and accompany inspections conducted by external auditors/inspectors and, when required, prepare inspection certificates on their behalf.

Conduct quality inspections of stored materials and products.

Support IMDS activities (provided a personalized user account has been established in the IMDS portal).

Assist in the preparation of EN 10204 Type 3.1 certificates for customers (as an authorized inspection representative).
What you bring
-
Completed vocational training in a technical profession.
-
Qualification or training in metrology is desirable.

Experience working with measuring equipment, including 3D coordinate measuring machines (Zeiss and Mitutoyo experience is an advantage).

Experience working with ERP systems.
