About The Team

Job Summary**
As a Warehouse Supervisor at JD DEVELOPMENT DE GmbH, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. You will lead and motivate a team to meet operational goals and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
Job Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training and feedback.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and loading.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Collaborate with other departments, including logistics and customer service, to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Prepare and maintain reports on warehouse activities, performance, and inventory.
- Resolve operational issues and employee conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
Job Qualifications**
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid forklift operator certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Fluency in German and English is preferred.
