Projectmanager Future Programs Exploration and Space Safety (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- Support in the planning and execution of national and international space projects in the “Future Programs” area, specifically in the preparation of proposals for implementation projects

Depending on the level of experience gained, you may also be responsible for independently managing the aforementioned projects/programs

Planning of projects and proposals with regard to staffing, timelines, and budgets

Depending on previous experience, you may also be responsible for managing projects with operational responsibility for ensuring compliance with quality, schedule, and budget requirements

Primary point of contact for customers

Providing technical leadership and coordinating interdisciplinary project and proposal teams (in areas such as engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, controlling, project office)
Your Qualifications

Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering or engineering management—ideally in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or aerospace engineering

Theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of project management, ideally with relevant certifications (IPMA, PMI, or equivalent)

Broad technical understanding of technical systems

Ideally, several years of professional experience as a project manager or lead technical engineer in the field of spacecrafts

Experience in leading and managing teams, as well as strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset

Quick learner with a passion for exploring new subject areas and technologies

Structured, analytical, and efficient work style, with a strong sense of responsibility

Very good English skills; German skills are a plus
