What to Expect
Tesla is accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. Revolutionary strategies and products were developed within a few years and successfully launched on a large scale. This is only possible through extraordinary speed, innovation and efficiency.
Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg forms the perfect basis for rolling out Tesla's incredible success story in Europe. The most important pillar for this is our employees. Their passion, motivation and engagement ensure that we achieve our goals. We are looking for you to continue and expand this success story together.
What You'll Do

-
Monitor and improve OEE, scrap rate, and cycle time KPIs for your equipment area
-
Lead structured root-cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa) for equipment failures and process deviations
-
Develop and refine equipment specifications — gap/nip force, temperature profiles, web tension, speed parameters — to meet evolving electrode and separator requirements
-
Drive Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize process windows and reduce variation
-
Create and maintain equipment documentation including SOPs, preventive maintenance instructions, and spare parts lists
-
Collaborate cross-functionally with process engineering, maintenance, quality, and controls teams to execute equipment changes and improvement projects
-
Support FAT/SAT for new equipment installations and participate in on-site construction and commissioning activities
-
Contribute to FMEA activities for new product introductions and equipment modifications

-
Hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across mechanical and electrical systems
-
Experience improving automated manufacturing equipment — optimizing performance, reducing downtime, or introducing new processes
-
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
-
Professional proficiency in English or German (both are used day-to-day; willingness to develop the other language is expected)
Preferred
- Experience with roll-to-roll, calendering, lamination, coating, or slitting equipment
