As Operations Lead for the Web Frontend Team, you will take on the disciplinary leadership of your team members and create the conditions for the team's long-term success. Your focus will be on people leadership, employee development, organisational development, and ensuring sustainable delivery.
Together with Staff and Principal Engineers, you will help shape and evolve our unified frontend landscape. While technical leaders are responsible for technical strategy and architecture, your focus will be on developing teams, fostering cross-team collaboration, and continuously improving the organisation.
- Lead and develop the Web Frontend Team and support employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle – from recruiting and onboarding to goal setting, development, performance management, and career growth.

Create an environment where teams can collaborate effectively, encourage ownership, and foster a high-performing and supportive team culture.

Together with technical leaders, you ensure that teams can deliver sustainably while focusing on the right priorities.

You are responsible for capacity and resource planning within your organisation, balancing business goals, sustainable team development, and long-term delivery capability.

Identify organisational challenges early and continuously improve processes, structures, and collaboration.

You work closely with Product, Engineering, People, and other stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

You use relevant metrics to make progress visible, support data-informed decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.

You contribute to organisation-wide initiatives and change processes, helping to further develop the overall Engineering organisation.

Several years of experience in the disciplinary leadership of teams, ideally within technology-driven organisations.

Experience in employee development, performance management, recruiting, and organisational development.

The ability to guide teams through change and provide clarity and direction in dynamic environments.

Strong communication skills and experience managing a wide range of stakeholders.

Experience in resource planning, prioritisation, and navigating complex organisational environments.

You do not need to provide technical leadership yourself, but you enjoy working closely with technical experts, Staff Engineers, Principal Engineers, and Engineering teams.
