Must Have
- Design experience and deep understanding of protection schemes covering all HV AC substation equipment (Transformer, Buses, GIS, AIS, Capacitor banks, reactors etc.)
- Experience in developing the system architecture and functional design specification of Relay Protection & Control (RPC) system for HV substations and selecting respective subsystems/devices, inputs/outputs and detailing its interconnection
- Experience in preparing the general description, SLDs, C&P block diagram, interlock logic circuits, tripping & logics matrices, breaker failure concept, cubicle list, circuit diagrams, equipment overview diagrams, terminal matrix, device list, cable list, cable core list, AC & DC load list and deviation list
- Experience in cubicle design and detail engineering to produce manufacturing ready artifacts (FV, GA, assembly drawings, cable tray arrangements, wiring diagrams etc.) for RPC cubicles, marshalling cubicles, SAS cubicles and respective heat dissipation calculations
- Experience in preparing CT & VT box design (sizing, assembly drawings, circuit diagrams, equipment overview diagrams, terminal matrix, cable list, cable core list, wiring list etc.)
Work Experience
Desirable to have
- Working experience with Siemens Relays (SIPROTEC 4 & 5) and RPC system
- Experience in RPC bid preparation
- Knowledge in implementing relay logic and testing the RPC system
- Knowledge in complete lifecycle of RPC engineering in a substation project
- Experience in customer interfacing and interacting with internal & external stakeholders
- Technical team management skill
- German language skill
- Proficient with MS office tools including Visio or equivalent and other applicable software programs
