Axel Hotels is looking for a Receptionist to join our team at one of our hotels. We are looking for a dynamic, customer-focused individual with problem-solving skills and a strong service orientation, who wants to develop their career in an inclusive and constantly evolving environment.
Job Mission
To be the guest's first point of contact, guaranteeing an excellent experience from arrival to departure, through the correct execution of reception processes and compliance with the hotel's quality standards. To actively contribute to revenue generation through the promotion and sale of additional services.
Main Functions
- Welcome guests, efficiently managing check-in and check-out processes.
- Provide information about hotel services and destination recommendations.
- Attend to and channel requests, ensuring a prompt and effective response.
- Manage reservations and track them in the system (additions, modifications, cancellations).
- Perform administrative tasks specific to the department (invoicing, collections, cash reconciliation).
- Answer phone calls and emails.
- Coordinate with different hotel departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Manage incidents and complaints, offering appropriate solutions.
- Promote the sale of complementary services (upselling and cross-selling).
- Comply with established operating procedures and quality standards.
- Availability to work rotating shifts.

Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in reception or customer service positions, preferably in the hotel sector
- Advanced level of English (essential) Other languages will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of computer tools and hotel management systems (PMS).
- Previous experience with Tesipro/Ulyses Cloud will be considered an asset.
