Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Operations & Information SecuritySpecialist to oversee the day-to-day management, security, and reliability of the organization's IT infrastructure and technology services. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of on-premises and cloud-based systems while supporting end users, managing IT operations, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
IT Operations
· Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, servers, endpoints, and cloud services.
· Ensure high availability of business-critical IT services.
· Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, Exchange Online, and collaboration platforms.
· Administer endpoint management solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune).
· Coordinate software deployment, patch management, and operating system updates.
· Maintain asset inventory and configuration management databases (CMDB).
· Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
· Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, and end-user issues.
· Work with vendors and managed service providers to resolve operational issues.
· Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and system configurations.
Information Security
· Monitor security alerts generated by SIEM, EDR, email security, and cloud security platforms.
· Investigate security events and coordinate incident response activities.
· Escalate security incidents according to established procedures.
· Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
· Ensure timely application of security patches.
· Support identity and access management, including user provisioning and privileged access reviews.
· Conduct periodic reviews of firewall rules, endpoint protection policies, and security configurations.
· Assist in security awareness and phishing simulation campaigns.
· Maintain endpoint protection platforms and security monitoring tools.
· Participate in threat hunting and continuous security improvement initiatives.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
· Support compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2, DORA, and other applicable regulations.
· Assist with internal and external IT security audits.
· Maintain security policies, procedures, and operational standards.
· Support risk assessments and remediation tracking.
· Ensure evidence collection for audits and compliance reporting.
· Monitor compliance with security baselines and configuration standards.
Service Management
· Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and changes following ITIL best practices.
· Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities when required.
· Ensure service tickets are resolved within agreed SLAs.
· Identify recurring issues and recommend permanent solutions.
· Produce operational and security reports for management.
Required Qualification
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Network Engineering, or a related field.
· 3–5+ years of experience in IT Operations, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support, or Information Security.
· Hands-on experience supporting enterprise IT environments with Microsoft technologies.
· Experience in IT service management and incident response within a medium to large organization.
· Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure and security solutions.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
