About the role:
JEVVRS is seeking experienced freelance Consultants and Senior Consultants with a strong understanding of the Indian chemicals & materials industry and an interest in cross-border Europe-facing projects. Consultants may be based in India or Europe and will work closely with JEVVRS leadership and clients on high-impact strategic engagements. This is a project-based, flexible, freelance contract role, suitable for Independent consultants, Ex-strategy consultants and Industry professionals with strong commercial and strategic expertise.
Key focus areas:
Depending on project requirements, consultants will contribute to:
- India–EU Market Entry & Expansion Strategy
- Customer & Partner Identification (Europe)
- Corporate Strategy & Growth Roadmaps
- M&A, JV, and Strategic Partnership Support
- Commercial & Competitive Intelligence
- Go-to-Market Strategy for Specialty Chemicals & Materials
Key responsibilities:
- Support business development and early-stage client discussions with Indian companies targeting Europe
- Lead or co-lead end-to-end client projects
- Develop structured, insight-driven analyses and strategic recommendations
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor
- Synthesize complex market, industry, and commercial data into clear, actionable outputs
- Collaborate with JEVVRS partners and other consultants across geographies
Qualifications
- 6+ (Consultants) and 9+ (Sr. Consultants) years of consulting experience particularly in Strategy, M&A Advisory, and Commercial Intelligence
- Strong experience in the Chemicals & Materials industry (specialty chemicals preferred)
- Exposure to Europe-facing business, exports, partnerships, or M&A is a strong advantage
- Self-starter with strong ownership mindset
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and structuring skills
- Ability to engage credibly with CXOs, promoters, and senior leadership
- Advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Business, or related field
