Act as a trusted business partner and independent counterparty to the Power Front Office, providing constructive challenge on commercial decisions and underlying assumptions

Take end-to-end ownership of a Commercial Power portfolio, ensuring transparency on financial and operational performance as well as key value drivers

Manage and steer core controlling processes including monthly & quarterly reports, forecasting, and mid-/long-term planning (MTP/LTP), ensuring accurate and timely outputs

Analyse and explain key performance drivers and deviations, supporting management discussions and decision-making

Provide financial valuation and recommendation within the Financial Decision process for transactions and strategic initiatives (e.g. PPAs, BESS, structured deals), including evaluation of assumptions, risks, and alignment with financial, accounting, and risk frameworks

Ensure alignment between financial and performance reporting by analysing deviations, reconciling figures across systems, and coordinating required adjustments with relevant stakeholders

Drive cross-functional alignment and contribute to transformation initiatives, supporting continuous improvement of processes and systems

Education in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Relevant controlling expertise and/or understanding of the energy trading or comparable commercial environments

Solid understanding of financial performance drivers, planning processes, and financial valuation principles

Experience in evaluating commercial decisions or transactions, ideally in structured or deal-driven environments

Strong analytical skills to structure complex topics and derive clear decision-relevant insights

Clear and effective communication skills, enabling alignment across stakeholders and concise presentation of key messages

Experience in taking ownership of topics and driving them independently in a cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines

Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages would be an advantage
