About the Role
The Key Account Manager plays a critical role in driving business growth in Germany. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive and results-oriented approach, with a strong passion for channel development, sales expansion, and delivering measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage sales activities for designated channel partners, fostering win-win partnerships and ensuring growth aligned with company objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to ensure long-term collaboration.
- Set, track, and achieve sales targets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans and forecasts, including the design and implementation of condition systems.
- Negotiate terms, plan initiatives, and monitor the execution of sales activities to drive performance.
- Ensure a robust retail presence through effective planning and on-ground execution.
- Deliver training programs for partners and stakeholders to improve product knowledge and sales capabilities.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Prepare comprehensive management reports and presentations to support strategic planning and execution.
- Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and fairs to represent the brand and build relationships.
What you bring to the team
- Several years of sales experience, particularly in the consumer electronics (CE) sector.
- Established network within the CE industry, ideally at the decision-maker level within the DIY channel; experience in other channels is an advantage.
- Proven track record working with consumer electronics products.
- Fluent in German and proficient in English, with strong communication skills in both written and spoken forms.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-reliant, proactive approach to work.
- Open to frequent travel and holds a valid Class B driver's license.
