You would support our MultiMission Spacecraft Controller Team in Gilching/Oberpfaffenhofen at GSOC.
Security:
In line with security requirements for the concerned missions of this position, the candidate has to hold a European citizenship. Evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process. Furthermore, in view of the nature of the work the company is in, all potential employees will undergo stringent reference and identity checks.
- Completed technical training or qualification as a technician

Commitment and willingness to work in a 24/7 shift system

Experience in monitoring process workflows

Experience in telecommunications or space industry is desirable

Due to the specific requirements of the missions, proof of European citizenship is required for this position. Additionally, a security clearance will be conducted at the time of hiring.
After an on-the-job training period, you will take on the following responsibilities:

Execution and monitoring of routine satellite operations in accordance with defined processes and schedules

Implementation of corrective actions in line with established emergency procedures

Maintenance of internal software tools

Logging and documentation of routine and emergency actions

Support in maintaining training materials
