Job mission:
You will play a key role in driving the commercial performance and monetization of Kia Connect's Connected Car Services portfolio across Europe.
You monitor the performance of existing services, including paid subscriptions, over-the-air (OTA) upgrades, premium digital features and usage-based services. You identify growth opportunities, develop new business initiatives and ensure that Connected Car Services generate sustainable value for customers and the organisation throughout the customer lifecycle.
You will build compelling customer value propositions, develop robust business cases and contribute to increasing customer lifetime value through attractive, differentiated and commercially successful connected services.
Your Responsibilities:
Act as the commercial lead for paid Connected Car Services and monetisation initiatives by monitoring business performance, identifying growth opportunities and developing recommendations to improve adoption, retention and revenue generation.
Monitor and analyse key business KPIs, including activation, adoption, customer engagement, revenue, subscription renewals, customer retention and customer satisfaction.
Identify performance gaps and develop improvement actions.
Prepare regular business reviews, forecasts and management reports.
Support annual target setting and business planning activities.
Develop and execute initiatives to increase adoption, engagement, retention and revenue of Connected Car Services.
Identify and evaluate monetisation opportunities across subscription services, OTA upgrades, premium digital features, usage-based services and future Software Defined Vehicle enabled services.
Support the development of commercial models, pricing strategies and go-to-market concepts.
Ensure services are commercially viable while delivering tangible and attractive customer value that supports willingness to pay.
Contribute to the growth of customer lifetime value through connected service adoption and retention.
Collaborate with Kia Europe CX and KCE Digital Services Operations to identify future service opportunities.
Translate customer needs, market trends and business opportunities into commercially viable service concepts.
Develop customer-centric value propositions that create meaningful benefits for customers and encourage willingness to pay.
Support the launch and scaling of new paid Connected Car Services across European markets.
Contribute to the future evolution of Kia's connected, digital and software-defined vehicle ecosystem.
Develop business cases for new paid Connected Car Services, OTA features, usage-based services and digital business models.
Build financial models and commercial assessments covering revenue potential, customer lifetime value impact, customer adoption forecasts, profitability, investment requirements and break-even.
Evaluate the attractiveness and scalability of new business opportunities.
Track actual performance against business case assumptions and recommend optimisation measures.
Support annual budget and business planning processes.
Champion a customer-centric approach to Connected Car Services development and monetisation.
Ensure that new services solve relevant customer needs and deliver clear, perceived value.
Analyse customer behaviour, service usage patterns and feedback to identify growth opportunities.
Develop recommendations to improve customer acquisition, engagement, retention and lifetime value.
Balance customer experience objectives with commercial and profitability goals.
Work closely with Finance teams on business planning, forecasting, profitability analysis and investment evaluations.
Collaborate with Legal teams to help ensure compliance with applicable consumer protection, privacy, subscription and digital services requirements.
Support contractual, commercial and governance reviews related to paid Connected Car Services.
Ensure initiatives follow Kia's internal governance and approval requirements.
Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with Kia Europe CX, Digital Services Operations, Customer Engagement Support, Data Analytics teams, Finance, Legal, European markets and Headquarters.
Align commercial requirements with operational capabilities and product roadmaps.
Support successful execution from concept through launch and lifecycle management.
Influence stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple business functions.
Your talents:
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Digital Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
At least six years of relevant experience in connected services, digital products, software services, subscription businesses, product management, business development or commercial strategy.
Experience developing and managing business cases.
Experience in financial analysis and performance management.
Experience collaborating with Legal and Finance stakeholders.
Experience within automotive, mobility, technology, telecommunications, SaaS or digital services is highly desirable.
