Your Responsibilities
- Provide deep technical expertise for a portfolio of high-impact workforce analytics initiatives.
- Identify optimal data sets, models, training methods, and testing techniques for successful workforce analytics solutions.
- Analyze complex business and people-data problems involving intangible variables and their potential impact on future concepts, products, or technologies.
- Apply continuous integration and continuous deployment best practices, including test automation and monitoring, to deploy data models and application code successfully.
- Design and build predictive models, classifiers, and recommendation systems to improve workforce and organizational performance.
- Stay current on advances in data science, machine learning, AI, and visualization tools to enhance workforce analytics methods.
- Communicate complex findings and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders through visualizations, presentations, and reports.
- Partner with business leaders, domain experts, and end users to gather business context, understand data, and define requirements.
- Manage external vendors involved in selected parts of the workforce analytics development process.
- Use programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, Java, or Scala in cloud environments, preferably Azure and its ecosystem.
- Design the overall data architecture for a global HR Data Lake to support current and future HR and cross-functional analytics needs.
- Develop workforce analytics tools, guide global HR data governance and KPI strategy, and strengthen data culture across Global HR and the broader data community.
Your qualification
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field.
- 4–6 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in workforce, HR, people analytics, or other business analytics disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working collaboratively in a matrix organization and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish credibility and contribute effectively in a collaborative setting.
- Proven ability to work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, identify patterns, and connect insights across disparate data sources.
- High proficiency in at least one programming language, such as JavaScript, R, Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL preferred.
- Strong interest in and working knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and its associated services and ecosystem.
- Experience with traditional data warehousing and ETL tools.
- Knowledge of the Japanese language would be an added advantage.
