As a Business Development Representative for Uber for Business (U4B), you will be the engine of our growth, identifying and qualifying high-potential revenue opportunities that move the real world. You aren't just selling a product; you are building long-term partnerships by understanding what matters most to our customers and navigating the complex digital and real-world landscape of enterprise movement.
Sales at Uber means navigating ambiguity, earning trust fast, and solving problems that don't come with a script. You will need to stay resilient and resourceful, managing pipelines with urgency while adapting your approach based on shifting market dynamics and imperfect information. What you'll do
- Build and grow long-term partnerships by understanding what matters most to our customers across the Enterprise and upper Mid-Market segments.
- Navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities, and internal complexity to unlock value for clients through strategic outbound prospecting into complex organizations.
- Conduct high-level, consultative meetings with senior leadership and C-level decision-makers to uncover business pain points and communicate the value of the U4B platform.
- Collaborate across operations, marketing, and product to shape proposals, resolve blockers, and accelerate pipeline velocity.
- Manage pipelines with urgency and discipline, ensuring that leads are properly qualified and progress through the sales funnel to closed-won deals.
- Track the details and maintain strict CRM hygiene in Salesforce and Groove, leveraging data to drive decisions and identify next steps for Account Executives.
Time spent in the day
- 60% Outbound prospecting and strategic outreach via calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
- 20% Consultative meetings and discovery calls with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- 10% Cross-functional collaboration with Account Executives and Marketing teams.
- 10% Pipeline management, data hygiene, and research into target enterprise accounts.
Basic Qualifications
- Native level of German, fluent in English
- A first experience as a working student, intern or full time, in a similar client-facing position
- Positive attitude, the will to learn, develop, and aim for a promotion to an AE position in the future
- Strong business acumen
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with sales tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Groove, and Salesforce.
Proven resilience and a "go-get-it" attitude, with a track record of overcoming objections to close deals.
