About the Job
In the Office of Allianz’s Chief Technology Transformation Officer (CTO), we shape and advance the Group’s AI transformation. As an intern (m/f/d), you’ll work alongside the Executive Assistants (EA) supporting day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives at the intersection of strategy, technology, and senior management.Think of the role as a junior extension of the EA function, reliable and structured, with ownership of strategic preparation, coordination, and follow-up. You’ll be part of an international team and work closely with an experienced colleague who supports you as you take on more responsibility.
What you do
- Shape materials for senior leadership: Draft and refine decision papers, briefings, and presentations for board-level audiences. Bring creativity to keynote and briefing materials while keeping the message clear, polished, and professional.
- Own end-to-end sub-projects: Take charge of clearly scoped pieces of work, from planning and coordinating input across internal teams, Product Leads, and external technology partners in an international setting, through to follow-up and reporting.
- Drive the AI transformation forward: Help research, document, and track AI pilots and agentic use cases, including support for strategic technology partnerships.
- Work closely with senior leadership: Depending on the projects at hand, you may sit in on C-level work and board-relevant discussions, contributing to the prep, seeing first-hand how high-level decisions take shape, and getting a rare vantage point this early in your career.
- A task portfolio shaped around you: Your responsibilities will be tailored to your strengths and learning objectives, giving you room to grow over time.
What you bring
- Prior working experience shown through an internship, a working student job, or hands-on experience.
- An interest in strategy and the business side of technology
- Able to build clear, well-structured PowerPoint decks for a senior audience.
- Comfortable picking up new topics quickly and communicating confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Basic working knowledge of AI technologies and how they’re applied in practice.
- Strong written and spoken business English and German language skills.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program (in its final stage) or at any stage of a Master's program in Business Administration, Business Informatics, a STEM field, or a related discipline, with an excellent academic record
- The start date is flexible, whether you can begin immediately or only later in the year.
- You can start immediately and are interested in an internship for 6 months in full-time (38h/week)
