The Environmental Health & Safety Specialist is responsible for all Environmental Health & Safety and Facility Management activities.
Responsibilities

Responsible for the introduction, implementation and maintenance of occupational health and safety topics

Acting as “Sicherheitsbeauftragter” (Safety Delegate)
-
Managing the Health, Safety & Facilities Specialist budget
-
Carrying out internal employee training on health & safety topics
-
Responsibility for the building of safety system and corresponding safety precautions
-
Ensuring that SOP's and work instructions for Health&Safety are adhered to
-
Facility management, including cooperation with external providers regarding building maintenance, including cleaning and site protection services
-
Administrative Support for IT (not on site)

Support EHS audits and primary contact to FM-Global as well as for local public administration and authorities
-
Conducting detailed analysis such as root cause / 5 Why and improvement plan

Supporting Operations, Import/Export and Warehouse activities
Qualifications
-
Technical qualification and/or experience in Health & Safety
-
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Health & Safety
-
Must possess good organizational skills, the ability to work well with others and excellent communication skills,
-
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and ERP-Systems
-
Fluent in writing, reading and speaking English
