We are currently looking for a Welding Coordinator for our pipeline projects based in Germany.
Purpose of the position: As Welding Coordinator,you will respond to the Corporate Welding Manager / Site Manager and be part of the Welding Department.
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
BEFORE PRODUCTION
- coordinating with Client Inspectors, Notified Body (TUV) and German Suppliers on technical aspects related to welding;
- carrying out the technical requirements related to welding activity according to the local rules (e.g. DVGW GW350);
- attendance technical meeting.
DURING PRODUCTION
- technical support for welding and NDT during production activity;
- main interface with Client inspector, Notified Body (TUV) and German Suppliers on welding technical aspects;
- trouble shooting on welding technical and operative aspects;
- direct welding inspection activity (e.g. visual test, welding supervision, welding data collections including welding parameters and pipers information for Project Log Book preparation);
- welding inspectors coordination;
- interface with Client inspector and Notified Body during radiographic film evaluations and welds acceptance;
- welders and welding operators analysis of performance (quality and productivity);
- Client NDT crews interface and operative support.
CONCLUSION PROJECT WELDING PHASE
- preparing master dossier of project document for final consignment (as-built, soft and hard copy);
- statistical analysis of performance (kpi).
Education: Technical Diploma
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the role
Languages: Fluent in English and German
Certificates:

Specific training in welding: International Welding Specialist (IWS) or Inspector (IWI) or Technician/Engineer (IWT/IWE),
- Specific training in NDT:
- certified level 2 film interpreter method radiographic (RT) according with DIN ISO 9712.

certified level 2 method visual test (VT) according with DIN ISO 9712.
Knowledge:
Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, Outook)
