A global enterprise software company operating at the forefront of DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud security, and application security is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to join its growing DACH organization.
The company delivers a highly scalable enterprise platform trusted by many of the world's leading organizations to manage, secure, and automate modern software delivery pipelines across cloud and hybrid environments.
Reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering, EMEA, this customer-facing role combines technical expertise, solution consulting, and pre-sales leadership, helping enterprise customers modernize and secure their software development lifecycle.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Partner with enterprise customers throughout their DevOps and DevSecOps transformation initiatives.
Support technical pre-sales activities and contribute to complex enterprise software sales engagements.
Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.
Build trusted relationships with architects, engineering leaders, technical champions, and executive stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales teams to align customer requirements with product capabilities.
Represent the company at customer meetings, industry conferences, and technical events.
Remain current on emerging technologies including DevOps, cloud infrastructure, application security, Kubernetes, AI-assisted development, and modern software delivery practices.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor's Degree (3 or 4-year university degree), preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Four or more years of Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Pre-Sales experience supporting enterprise software sales.
Strong customer-facing experience within complex enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and build automation technologies.
Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of DevSecOps and Application Security technologies including SCA, SAST, SBOM Management, and Container Security.
Understanding of AI-assisted software development, LLM-based environments, and modern automation workflows.
Strong presentation and communication skills with both technical and executive audiences.
Previous software development experience is considered a strong asset.
Native-level German together with strong English communication skills is essential.
