We are looking for a motivated Technical Support Engineer – Fiber to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with a technical background who are interested in telecommunications and fiber network deployment. You will support equipment installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities across warehouse and site environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for the installation, integration, and commissioning of fiber communication equipment
- Assist with equipment assembly, testing, and activation in warehouses and on-site
- Guide and support subcontractors/field teams during installation and configuration
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning and deployment
- Prepare pre-configuration, data planning, and setup documentation before site deployment
- Compile and submit commissioning reports and technical documentation
- Support additional project-related tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred)
- Valid German driver’s license and willingness to travel for short business trips
- Ability to work in English or German in a professional environment
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams and contractors
- Good analytical thinking and data handling skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Nice to Have
- Internship or initial experience in telecommunications, fiber networks, or field engineering
- Familiarity with network equipment installation or testing tools
