Job Description:
BASIC FUNCTION:
Provide technical and design assistance for the Bourns Portfolio of Products and Solutions to the sales team, channel partners and end customers within a defined territory.
Create demand for all Bourns Products & Solutions through the creation of new opportunities, design in’s and design wins within a defined territory.
Provide market feedback and new product and solution ideas to all Bourns Divisions and Product Lines.
Work with IC Reference Designs where appropriate with Bourns Product Line & Marketing Managers to achieve registrations.
Provide Market intelligence on industry trends to Bourns Management.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop a strong funnel of opportunities, demand creation, and move through to design win in union with territory sales
Direct customer contact
Sales channel opportunity support including distributors and manufactures representatives, including training
Product Line and Marketing collaboration
Facilitate New Product Development
Identify market needs & gaps in Bourns portfolio
Provide competitive intelligence
Bridge for Bourns Engineering, Product Lines, & Marketing to the Customers
Technical Knowledge & Expertise
Bourns Product Portfolio
Applications, Horizontal and Vertical including, but not limited to, Power Conversion, Sensing, Circuit Protection, Timing, Communications, Industrial, Automotive and Consumer, Aerospace & Defence
Other
Monthly reporting
CRM logging
Market Trend reporting to Divisions
Technical Shows & Fairs
