Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in a global finance environment? As a Global Financial Planning & Analysis Intern, you will support DHL Supply Chain's Global FP&A team in reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and digital finance initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your analytical and financial planning skills while working with senior stakeholders and contributing to innovative reporting and automation solutions across a global business. Eligibility Criteria
This internship is part of a local scheme with universities in Germany. The main eligibility criterion is to be actively enrolled in a university program throughout the entire duration of the internship. You will be required to provide documentation such as your ID, student visa, and enrollment certificate as part of the eligibility verification process.
Your key accountabilities include:
Tasks:

Supporting the preparation of global financial reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for DHL Supply Chain.

Assisting in the creation of presentations and insights for divisional senior leadership and top management.

Maintaining, enhancing, and developing standard and contract reporting processes to improve financial visibility and decision-making.

Supporting budgeting, planning, and forecasting activities while gaining exposure to core controlling processes, including cash flow management.

Contributing to the delivery of the finance digitalisation roadmap through the development of reporting and automation solutions using tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power Query.

Supporting projects focused on data analytics, KPI reporting, and predictive solutions to enhance business performance insights.
What are we looking for from you?
Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a degree programme in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related discipline.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.

A structured, analytical, and detail-oriented approach, with a strong affinity for working with numbers and data.

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills combined with a proactive, reliable, and collaborative mindset.

A genuine interest in digital finance and reporting tools, with experience or exposure to Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate) considered advantageous.
