YOUR MISSION-
Own RFP/RFQ responses end-to-end: Qualify incoming requests, validate technical feasibility, and deliver structured proposals within defined turnaround targets High Performance: Structured thinking at speed. Repeatable output, every time.

Own the Sales-to-Engineering handover Togetherness: One team. Zero information loss at the seam.

Be the technical filter on the pipeline: Identify and kill — or redirect — opportunities that are technically unsound or out of scope before they consume Engineering bandwidth. Candor: Say no early. Say it clearly. Document why.

Serve as the primary technical contact across the customer lifecycle: Pre-sales feasibility, mid-deal alignment, and post-sale integration support. Accountability: Own the outcome. No dropped balls, no post-sale surprises.

Build reusable systems that scale Playfulness: Build things that last because they're useful

Ownership: You don't wait to be told what's missing. You see a gap, build the fix, and hold yourself accountable to the outcome — even when no one is watching.

Technical background: Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent applied technical field. You understand what you're selling, what Engineering needs to deliver it, and where the line between feasible and not actually sits.

Customer-facing experience: Proven track record in a technical customer-facing role — Application Engineer, Field Application Engineer, Sales Engineer, or equivalent.

Requirement translation: You take ambiguous customer inputs and turn them into structured, engineering-ready specifications without losing the details that matter.

Pushback fluency: You are comfortable saying no. When a request is out of scope or technically unsound, you redirect it — with clarity and without apology.

Process builder: You've created operational workflows, handover protocols, or qualification checklists from scratch. Ambiguity is a starting point for you, not a blocker.

Communication: Confident with customers, engineering teams, and senior stakeholders. Direct, structured, and proactive - you surface problems before others notice them.

On-site presence: Hybrid — Munich preferred. Minimum 3 days/week in office.

Language skills: English full professional proficiency (C1+) required — primary working language. German is a plus. Other European languages welcome.
