Hive Robotics is building Europe's first full-stack orchestration platform for unmanned systems, connecting, controlling, and commanding multi-vendor drone and robot swarms. Our RF communication systems are Made in Germany, deployed on active frontlines, and targeting a €5B European tactical communication market with zero sovereign alternatives today.
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support the mechanical design and integration of our electronic hardware portfolio, from rapid prototypes to field-ready serial production. You will work closely with our electronics and manufacturing teams to bring robust, ruggedized hardware from concept to the field.
If you enjoy hands-on mechanical work combined with electronics, fast iteration cycles, and making hardware survive real-world conditions, this role is for you.

-
Contribute to moving products from concept to prototype to serial production
-
Support material selection and design decisions for ruggedized, field-ready hardware
Prototyping & Testing
-
Build and test prototypes using rapid fabrication methods (3D printing, machining)
-
Support hardware bring-up, environmental & thermal testing, and regulatory compliance activities (e.g., CE, EMC)
-
Create and maintain test setups, fixtures, and validation procedures
Cross-functional Collaboration
-
Work closely with electronics, electrical, and manufacturing partners on integration into customer platforms (drones, UGVs, maritime systems)
-
Support supply chain and make/buy decisions in the mechanical domain
-
Document designs, tests, and production workflows with high clarity
Must Have
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or mechatronics engineering
