Senior Systems Engineer (m/f/d) Space System Studies - Communication Network
Your Tasks
- Analyze the missions and systems needs
-
Define information and data that shall be transferred between space assets (sensors and data network elements) as well as between space and ground

Derive different solutions for data dissemination within the system (space and ground)

Negotiate the solutions with suppliers and subcontractors
-
Define architecture options for data dissemination and perform trade studies for space system elements and ground elements

Specify the selected solution and option
-
Bring the defined and selected solution into an operational system
-
Write the specification and interface control document for the selected solution and option
-
Work in an international team of experts from OHB and project partners
Your Qualifications
-
Completed studies (Diploma or Master) in aerospace engineering, electronics, communication or equivalent qualification
-
Ideally several years of professional experience in defence or security systems engineering projects
-
Several years of experience in communication network definition
-
Strong competence in self-organizing and work planning
-
High motivation, proactive working approach, and strong sense of responsibility
-
Strong competence in working in a multicultural team
-
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
-
Experience with applicable standards and processes in space communication
-
Ability and willingness to achieve a German security clearance
-
Fluency in both spoken and written English
