Software Developer for Test Frameworks Frontend Services:
TXT e-Tech is looking for a Software Developer for Test Frameworks – Frontend Services to join international projects in highly complex Aviation & Aerospace environments, both in the civil and DEFENCE sectors.
Job activity:
The selected candidate will work as a Software Developer focusing on frontend services for test frameworks. Main responsibilities include:
Design and develop software for our Test and Simulation Framework (TSF) in C++
Develop graphical user interface (GUI) components of the TSF
Independently design, implement, and execute development tests (unit testing), as well as perform code reviews
Apply state-of-the-art technologies and techniques
Actively contribute to virtual engineering (mixed environment of simulations and real hardware)
Provide second-level support for the AIDASS/MaTE test support system and the SI² simulation framework
Support customers in application development and system testing
Participate in continuous improvement processes
Support software teams on concepts and technologies
Required Technical Skills
Basic knowledge of software design, models and architectures, system programming, and cross-platform development
Basic knowledge of networks, field buses, and distributed systems is a plus
Familiarity with Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and avionics/non-avionics protocols (ARINC 429, TCP, UDP, HTTP, etc.)
Basic experience in modeling, model transformations, or code generation
Basic experience with user interfaces; knowledge of JavaFX is a plus
Strong programming skills in C++ and ADA according to modern standards
Excellent programming skills in Java
Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
Knowledge of frameworks such as Qt, MFC, Eclipse RCP is a plus
Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., Python, C++) is considered an advantage
Experience with Eclipse RCP or OSGi is a plus

Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, or related fields
