About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to lead and oversee complex IT programs and delivery initiatives across our Germany operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale technology programs within global delivery environments, with proven experience coordinating offshore delivery teams based in India. The role will be responsible for ensuring successful program execution, stakeholder alignment, governance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence across multiple initiatives.
The successful candidate will act as a key bridge between Germany-based customers and stakeholders and India-based delivery teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram & Delivery Management
- Lead and manage complex, large-scale IT programs involving multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams.
- Manage and coordinate offshore delivery teams in India, including:
- Architecture
- Software Development
- Quality Assurance
- Deployment
- Production Support
- Delivery Management
- Manage the Germany-based IT delivery team.
- Establish effective program governance, delivery processes, risk management, and quality assurance frameworks.
- Track program progress against defined KPIs, milestones, budgets, SLAs, and delivery objectives.
- Identify program risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising architects, developers, QA professionals, delivery managers, and other technology specialists.
- Ensure successful delivery across new product development, legacy product enhancements, modernization, and production support.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the program.
- Ensure delivery adheres to organizational security, compliance, quality, and governance standards.
Stakeholder & Customer Management
- Act as the key interface between Germany-based customer stakeholders and India-based offshore delivery teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer leadership and key stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure transparent communication across all levels.
- Act as the primary escalation point for critical service issues, delivery risks, and major incidents.
- Conduct Monthly Service Reviews (MSRs), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and executive governance meetings.
- Present program status, forecasts, risks, issues, KPIs, and recommendations to senior leadership and customers.
- Drive proactive customer engagement and identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and business value.
Global Delivery & Team Leadership
- Coordinate delivery across multiple locations and time zones.
- Lead globally distributed and matrixed teams effectively.
- Establish clear roles, responsibilities, communication channels, and delivery expectations.
- Mentor and guide delivery managers and other senior technology resources.
- Foster collaboration between Germany-based stakeholders and offshore teams in India.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 12–15+ years of IT experience, with significant experience in program and delivery management.
- Proven experience managing large-scale and complex IT programs in a global delivery environment.
- Experience working with leading IT services / technology consulting organizations.
- Strong experience managing offshore delivery teams, particularly teams based in India.
- Proven experience managing multiple technology workstreams and cross-functional dependencies.

- Infrastructure/platform initiatives
- Strong understanding of program management frameworks, governance, risk management, and delivery methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.

- Familiarity with AI-native frameworks, AI-enabled delivery models, and modern ways of working.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: 82.510,10€ - 105.315,29€ per year
