As our CRM Lead, you will play a key role in shaping and scaling Customlytics CRM and customer engagement capabilities across the mobile app ecosystem. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone who is data-driven, customer-centric, and passionate about creating impactful lifecycle marketing experiences. You will have the freedom to independently drive initiatives forward while collaborating closely with our Paid Media, Design, and Consultant teams.
Your mission is to elevate how leading app businesses build and nurture relationships with their users. You will own and further develop our CRM offering across channels such as push notifications, email, in-app messaging, and automation journeys, helping clients maximize retention, engagement, and lifetime value. Working with leading CRM platforms including Braze, MoEngage, and Airship, you will lead end-to-end CRM initiatives, from strategy development and campaign execution to testing, personalization, and performance optimization,while ensuring high quality across the team.
You will collaborate with some of the most relevant app businesses in the DACH market like Telekom and REWE, helping them create impactful customer lifecycle programs that drive engagement and long-term growth. In addition to guiding and developing team members, you will establish scalable CRM processes, foster best practices, and contribute to building a high-performing customer lifecycle marketing function.

Lead and mentor a team of CRM specialists while ensuring the successful execution and continuous optimization of high-performing CRM campaigns for clients across a wide range of app verticals.

Develop and evolve CRM and lifecycle marketing strategies that align with clients’ growth objectives and drive user engagement, retention, and long-term customer value.

Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel CRM campaigns across push notifications, in-app messaging, email, and automation flows to increase engagement and conversion for leading mobile apps.

Leverage customer and campaign data to generate actionable insights, identify optimization opportunities, and support data-driven growth decisions across marketing and product initiatives.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, copywriting, Paid Media, the Consultant team, and the leadership team, to deliver impactful and seamless customer experiences throughout the user lifecycle.

Lead by example as a hands-on CRM expert while mentoring and supporting a team of CRM specialists to ensure high-quality execution and continuous development.

Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging CRM technologies to continuously enhance our CRM offering and establish best practices across the organization.

5+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or mobile app marketing, ideally within a fast-paced agency or app-driven environment.

Proven experience developing, executing, and optimizing successful CRM and customer engagement campaigns that drive retention, engagement, and revenue growth.

Strong hands-on experience with leading CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Braze, MoEngage, CleverTap, Batch, Airship, Iterable, or similar tools.

Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret customer and campaign data, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven marketing decisions.

Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience mentoring or leading team members in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Fluent in English and German (minimum C1 level in German), with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
